Unfortunately, leadership derailment surveys show that somewhere between 50-67% of leaders fail. Companies and the world stage are crying for better leaders. We need to continue to learn what works, and share it openly with everyone. The #1 reason employee’s quit a job is they hate their boss. We can create mobile phones today that have more computing power than NASA of the late sixties. Yet, we have managers that wreck havoc in the halls of companies daily. The field of leadership needs revelation and innovation. There has to be a change. Poor leadership should be extinct. Help us with your input. We hear from managers daily who want to improve but don’t get the support or needed training. And, we hear from employees who have bad bosses and want to know what to do. Edelman’s Trust Barometer 2013 shared results on leadership trust from twenty-six markets around the world. It was the largest survey of its kind. Only 18% of employees trusted business leaders to tell the truth. In another example, Gallup continues to show the loss of confidence by American’s in their government. Only 7% of us have confidence in Congress. These kinds of results are a travesty. Please share your ideas:
