THE 5 DYNAMICS OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP TRAINING
This leadership video gives you the 5 dynamics of servant leadership training. It shows you how to make it work for you and your team. To begin, the first and only rule of leadership is that it is not about you. It is about the team. So, you treat people with respect. You help them succeed by communicating positively, coaching and training them, setting clear goals and expectations, and leading with an ethical character.
Too many “leaders” have this backwards. That is why 82% of the world’s 400 million team leaders, supervisors, managers, and executives are failing. Unfortunately, 85% of global employees are disengaged. It does not have to be that way for YOU!
Have you ever lost something unbelievably valuable? You looked everywhere but just could not find it. Do you remember how frustrating, annoying, and disappointing it was? Employees of companies and citizens of countries have these same negative feelings amplified by bad bosses and leaderless organizations. Study after study demonstrates how most managers lack the trust test and fail as leaders. Plus, research proclaims the lack of trust and toxic workplaces at record highs, worldwide.
Servant Leadership vs. Traditional Leadership
Management guru Peter Drucker wrote over twenty years ago, “We have a dearth of leadership.” In addition, he prophesied the lost art of leadership that we face today. Robert K. Greenleaf coined and pioneered the term Servant Leadership over thirty years ago. Educational institutions teach it as do a handful of companies. Unfortunately, too few leaders really consider or execute the approach. Think about it. There are more management and leadership books, training, and coaches than ever before. Therefore, failure is increasing, not decreasing. However, research shows exemplary success for Servant Leadership managers and organizations. For example:
- Stocks from the top five hundred public companies averaged an 8 percent pre-tax return. Eleven companies in Collin’s Good to Great averaged a 17.5 percent return.
- The servant-led companies’ returns averaged 24,2 percent!
- Good to Great companies did beat the average companies as did Servant led organizations. However, Servant Led companies beat the Good to Great Companies and did over three times as well as other organizations.
In conclusion, when you focus on people-first strategies, great things happen in business, and you help make the world a better place. As a result, as you implement these five Servant Leadership training principles you will increase employee trust, engagement, retention, and accelerate high-performance.
